If you have never been to a St. Louis book event then you are missing out! It is an awesome opportunity to chat and hang out with your favorite authors. All of whom will come prepared with bookmarks, pens, shirts, and more swag than you could think of. The authors will have paperback and Hardback books that they will readily sign for you, and sooo many giveaways for the readers!

If you've read Soiled Dove then you'll know about Flossie May. This is her story about how she survived during the Civil War with sheer strength of will. Through loss, hardship and then being the sole carer of her sister - Belle. Who is a much needed breath of fresh air in a book where some parts are harder to read. Loved Flossie May in Soiled Dove and she was even better in her own book. Also loved the men that cared about her - Wes the gentle giant of a soldier, Kels the General in charge and Avery a friendly guy who got saddled as an acting pastor. I wasn't one for western type books but this series has completely changed my mind. Just a fabulous read
